Welcome to Shopiome, a brand operated by Unig Ventures. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Shopiome is an online marketplace platform that enables registered sellers to list and sell products and enables buyers to purchase such products through the platform. Shopiome facilitates order processing, payment collection, and seller settlements in accordance with these Terms.
User Registration
- Users must register using accurate and complete contact details.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Shopiome reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts providing false or misleading information.
Seller Responsibilities
- Sellers are responsible for the authenticity, legality, quality, safety, pricing, and timely fulfillment of their listed products or services.
- Sellers warrant that all listed products comply with applicable Indian laws, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Sellers must ensure that descriptions, images, and specifications accurately represent the product being sold.
- Sellers agree that payouts will be made by Shopiome after deduction of applicable commissions, refunds, chargebacks, penalties, or other agreed fees.
Buyer Responsibilities
- Buyers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and details before placing an order.
- Buyers agree to make payments only through Shopiome's authorized payment methods available on the platform.
- Buyers shall not engage in fraudulent transactions or misuse of the refund process.
Payment & Settlement
- All payments for orders placed on Shopiome are processed and collected by Shopiome using authorized third-party payment service providers.
- Shopiome holds collected payments on behalf of sellers and settles eligible amounts to sellers in accordance with the agreed settlement cycle (e.g., 15 days or monthly).
- Shopiome may deduct platform commissions, applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, or penalties before releasing payouts to sellers.
Refunds & Disputes
- Refund requests, where applicable, shall be reviewed and processed by Shopiome in accordance with the platform's Refund Policy.
- Sellers agree that approved refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes may be recovered from their current or future payouts.
- Shopiome reserves the right to temporarily hold payouts in cases of unusual activity, suspected fraud, or policy violations.
Platform Moderation
- All listings are subject to administrative review before or after going live.
- Shopiome reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that violate platform rules or applicable Indian law, including intellectual property or consumer protection laws.
7. Compliance with Law
Users must comply with all applicable Indian laws including but not limited to:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Applicable taxation and GST regulations
8. Role of Shopiome
Shopiome operates as an online marketplace platform facilitating product listings, order processing, payment collection, and seller settlement services.
While Shopiome exercises reasonable due diligence and monitoring mechanisms, responsibility for product quality, fulfillment, and compliance remains with the respective seller.
User Protection
We implement security measures to protect user data and transactions. However, users are advised to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Policy Updates
These terms may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Reporting Issues
Users can report suspicious activities, inappropriate content, or policy violations through our reporting system. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.
