What is Shopiome?
Shopiome is an online marketplace operated by Unig Ventures that enables sellers to list and sell products while allowing buyers to negotiate prices securely before completing purchases through Shopiome's payment system.
How is Shopiome different from other marketplaces?
Shopiome operates on a Bargain & Buy model, where buyers can negotiate prices with sellers within the platform before proceeding to checkout. This creates flexibility while ensuring that final payments are processed securely through Shopiome.
For Sellers
How can I start selling on Shopiome?
You can register as a seller, complete the required KYC and bank verification, upload products, and submit them for admin approval. Once approved, listings go live.
What commission does Shopiome charge per sale?
Shopiome charges a commission based on the product category or price range. The commission covers platform services, payment processing charges, marketing tools, and operational support.
How and when do I receive my payouts?
Payments from buyers are collected by Shopiome at checkout. Seller payouts are processed periodically (bi-weekly or monthly), after:
- Delivery confirmation
- Completion of applicable return window
- Adjustment of refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
Applicable commissions, taxes, and fees are deducted before settlement.
Can I promote my products on Shopiome?
Yes. Sellers can increase visibility through:
- Featured listings
- Standard Ads
- Urgent Ads
- Banner placements
All advertisements are subject to admin approval.
For Buyers
How do I purchase a product?
Log in to your account, browse products, negotiate with the seller if desired, finalize the price, and complete payment securely through Shopiome's checkout system.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
You can raise a return or dispute request within 48 hours of delivery. Shopiome will review the claim and mediate between buyer and seller as per the Dispute Resolution Policy.
Can I cancel an order?
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. After dispatch, cancellations may be treated as return requests and are subject to eligibility criteria.
How are refunds processed?
Once approved, refunds are initiated within 5–10 business days and credited to the original payment method used during the transaction. Processing times may vary based on the bank or payment provider.

Yes. Payments are processed through RBI-compliant payment partners. Seller verification, secure checkout, and dispute resolution mechanisms are implemented to enhance transaction safety.
What if a dispute remains unresolved?
Users may escalate the matter to the designated Grievance Officer. All escalations are reviewed and resolved within 30 days, in accordance with applicable Indian laws.
