Secure Transactions

  • All payments are processed through authorized and secure payment gateways.
  • Shopiome collects payments on behalf of sellers as part of its marketplace model.
  • Sellers receive payouts only after order validation as per platform policies.

Important: Shopiome does not encourage or permit direct payments between buyers and sellers outside the platform.

2 & 3. Protection Coverage

What Buyer Protection Covers

  • Non-delivery of prepaid orders
  • Product significantly different from description
  • Damaged product received (with valid proof)
  • Fraudulent or misleading listings
All claims must be supported with relevant evidence (such as photos, videos, or order details)

What Buyer Protection Does Not Cover

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Minor variations in color, design, or packaging
  • Delays caused by courier partners beyond seller control
  • Issues reported after the defined complaint period
  • Custom-made or personalized products (unless defective or incorrect)

4. Dispute Resolution Process

Buyers must raise a complaint within 48 hours of delivery.

Shopiome's support team reviews and investigates the complaint thoroughly.

5. Refund & Resolution

If a claim is found valid:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method as per the Refund Policy.
  • In certain cases, replacement may be offered instead of refund.
  • Refund timelines depend on the payment provider and banking channels.
Shopiome reserves the right to make the final decision regarding dispute outcomes.

6. Fraud Prevention & Abuse

  • Repeated false claims may result in account suspension.
  • Sellers found engaging in fraudulent activity may face listing removal or permanent ban.

7. Platform Role

Shopiome acts as a marketplace facilitator connecting buyers and independent sellers. While we moderate listings and monitor compliance, the responsibility for product quality, fulfilment, and accuracy primarily rests with the seller.

However, Shopiome retains the authority to intervene in transactions to ensure marketplace integrity and consumer protection.
