Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shopiome is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and independent sellers. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines responsibilities related to order fulfilment and delivery.

We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers while ensuring transparent shipping practices and reliable delivery coordination.

Order Fulfilment Responsibility

  • Sellers are solely responsible for packaging, dispatching, and delivering products to buyers.
  • Sellers must ensure secure packaging and accurate shipping details to avoid damage or delivery errors.
  • Orders must be dispatched within the timeline mentioned on the product listing.
  • Failure to dispatch within the committed timeframe may lead to order cancellation and seller penalties.

Estimated Delivery Timelines

  • Estimated delivery timelines are displayed on each product page.
  • Delivery timelines may vary based on buyer location, courier service availability, and logistics factors.
  • Delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed.

Shipment Tracking

Once the order is shipped, tracking details will be shared with the buyer via SMS, email, or dashboard notification (where applicable).

Buyers are responsible for tracking their shipment using the provided tracking information.

Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Strikes or lockdown restrictions
  • Courier network disruptions
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by buyer

Shopiome shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party logistics partners or force majeure events. However, we will assist in coordinating with the seller and courier partner for resolution.

Failed Delivery / RTO

Delivery may fail if:

  • Buyer is unavailable
  • Incorrect or incomplete address is provided
  • Buyer refuses delivery

In such cases:

  • The order may be returned to the seller (RTO).
  • Refund eligibility, if applicable, will be processed as per the Refund Policy.
  • Shipping charges may be deducted where applicable.

Non-Delivery Claims

  • Buyers must report the issue within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
  • Shopiome will investigate with the seller and courier partner before processing resolution.
  • Approved claims will be resolved via refund or replacement as per platform policy.

Platform Role

Shopiome facilitates transactions and payment processing between buyers and sellers. While sellers handle shipping, Shopiome reserves the right to intervene in cases of:

  • Non-dispatch
  • Repeated delivery failures
  • Fraudulent fulfillment activity

Sellers failing to meet shipping standards may face suspension or payout holds.
